Little itty-bitty prints tickle my fancy like no other. I love them all in different shapes and colors (but most especially if it's little cherries and strawberries, for which I'm still on the lookout...) And when I saw these two together in my closet, it was like a marriage made in Halloween heaven. Sure, I paid homage to one of my favorite holidays (costumes and candy! Come on.) but I tell ya... winning! The belt is a medium and I haven't had the time (or, cough, the memory, cough!) to remember to punch a hole in it to fit me so I made do with a little twisting here and there.
On days that my hair is unruly, I usually French or Dutch-braid it or just do an easy-peasy blogger bun. I tried my best to try Elaine's crown braid, but my hands won't cooperate and I feared the loss of blood circulation in both my arms. So, kudos to Elaine for successfully doing this not just once but many times. Meanwhile, I parted my hair at the side and did two side braids that I connected at the bottom with bobby pins. Yep, I spend a paragraph on my hair and there's no close up pictures of it. I'm a stinker.
